The SENEC Home V3 Hybrid Storage System
Solar batteries work by either storing your excess solar power captured during the day, or by charging during inexpensive non-peak periods. At night, during peak periods, you can draw power from the solar battery.
This stored energy can then be used to charge appliances, your electric vehicle, or heat your hot water.
Once the battery is depleted, household energy requirements will draw from the local grid. This continues until solar generation is available the following day.
Options exist to sell any unused, excess energy back to the grid during peak periods when the cost of energy is high.

The SENEC.Home V3 Hybrid Storage System is a 2-in-1 battery system that delivers homes a new level of energy independence.
Each battery storage unit includes an integrated solar inverter, allowing you to extend the capacity of your home solar system and utilise the energy your home generates 24/7/365.
All SENEC battery storage systems are equipped with a multi-stage safety system comprising safety relief valves located within the battery cells.
Additionally, an integrated battery management system controls the charging process, system temperature and current. If a safety risk arises, the system reacts immediately to protect the storage unit.
SENEC’s solar storage modules can usually be recycled at the end of their service life. Indeed, the current recycling process now recovers more than 95% of the nickel, copper and cobalt in the batteries, as well as most of the lithium.
When your battery system reaches the end of its life, SENEC is obligated to accept your old batteries free of charge. These batteries are then returned to the manufacturer, who is best placed to reuse the valuable materials.
